It's always been at the core of who and what we are, and has been for over 50 years. The downside is that getting all these threads online and arranged in a logical way for you to select is a task and a half for two people! So this is a work in progress. All colours, both in hanks and skeins. We have a small stock of discontinued colours.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eRiolis Wool\/acrylic embroidery thread.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDMC - 6 stranded '25' cotton. All colours available in standard colours, variations, satin, light effects \/ metallic \/ pearlescent and etoile (the fluffy one!)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDMC - Perle Nos 3, 5, 8 \u0026amp; 12. We have many of the colours available in skeins \/ balls. This is a bit of a minefield, so if you cannot find what you are after, please get in touch. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDMC - Coton a broder. We have all colours in No 25 and many of those in No 16. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease, please, if you cannot find what you are after, do ring us - we may have it, just not listed. All the Appleton's shades are either available immediately or can be obtained reasonably quickly. Contact us directly if you need bulk stocks (for example for Cathedral Embroidery groups) from a single dye lot, or wish to discuss colours to match projects old or new.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe spend quite a bit of our time on thread matching for older projects, or for new and very personal designs. We have Appleton's shade card boxes that can be lent out, and we are very happy to match to threads you send us.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e'Persian' threads, known as Paterna \/ Paternayan \/ Colonial Needle - 2025 update.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou may be here because you have been directed by Ehrmans, or because you have used these 3 ply threads in the past. Of the original colours, we still have some stock available, and there are a few from the limited set of colours now produced by Colonial Needle. For many reasons, which include the costs and problems of importing from the United States, we are no longer importing these, and once the current stocks are exhausted, will have no more. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you need threads matching and we have no stocks, we will be pleased to match as closely as we can to Appletons, or suggest alternative colours. Please note that if we are able to supply the Persian threads, they could come in continuous skeins or a skeins worth of cut lengths.
