Appleton’s Wool - Crewel wool skeins & hanks

Appletons have produced tapestry and crewel wool for almost 200 years and make it to the highest quality from UK sourced and spun wool. Their 423 colour palette ranges from those used from William Morris to newer shades introduced for today’s designers.

Crewel wool is 2-ply wool which can be ordered in either skeins or hanks. 

• Skeins are: 25m / 5g
  
• Hanks are: 180m / 25g
  

There are approximately 7 skeins to 1 hank.
