Tramme Tapestry Handbag - Vintage & Rare

This is a truly rare, and vintage canvas waiting to be finally brought to life. The doubles canvas has the design sewn on (trammed) by hand. The canvas includes the woolpack for the full design - and includes Perle cotton for detailing on the front. We think it dates from the 1950/60s and was originally priced at 50/- - around £75 today.

This is the last of this design available, and as it is vintage, there are a few trimmed threads loose, or missing. The canvas itself also has a few marks. These will not detract from the finished work.

The handbag design measures 14.75” at its widest and 11.75” in depth. The canvas also has straps marked out for stitching.
