Grassington is best known for an amazing international arts festival, which takes place in June each year. There is also a 1940's weekend in September, and it has also been home to the well-known Dickensian Christmas Festival. Because of the Covid uncertainty, the full Dickensian is not taking place this year: but there will be Christmas Markets.
And Spinning Jenny! Some weeks ago, we were up in Grassington, having a slightly half hearted scout around for a shop, and happened upon what has turned out to be the perfect little shop for us!
We are moving in this week and getting ready to open on Saturday. Stephanie is still working part time elsewhere, so our opening hours will be limited until January. We have also bought in the stock and shop fittings from an existing shop in the village, whose owner, John, wanted to retire. So, we also don't feel that we are stepping on anyone's toes.
