Grassington Shop & Contact
We have a cosy, friendly shop in Grassington, North Yorkshire. Situated at the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales, Grassington is a thriving town (although it calls itself a village), famous for its events, which now include a 1940s weekend in September each year, a growing Christmas Market on two Saturdays in the runup to Christmas and since 2023 a Local Food market takes place between March and November on the third Sunday in the month.
Grassington currently doubles as 'Darrowby' in the most recent adaptation of the ever popular 'All Creatures Great and Small'. The series has been extended to film until at least 2026, and filming usually takes place in April - June.
Usual shop opening hours:
Winter Hours (November - Easter)
Monday - Saturday 10.15am to 3.30pm
Summer Hours (Easter to end October)
Monday - Saturday 10.15am to 4pm
We often open on the Sundays of the Food Market and on the Sunday of the 1940's Festival, from 11am-4pm.
