Samplers

Samplers were originally pieces stitched by girls and young women as a demonstration of their skills. Some have made it to museums and been reproduced as kits for today's stitchers (and some of them are just as challenging to stitch with a chart!).

Today, many samplers are produced to commemorate occasions such as a birth or marriage, or a wedding anniversary. We have a very wide range from traditional to contemporary: and we are also able to produce unique designs on a commission basis for something truly special.
