Anchor Blackwork Kits are part of the Anchor Essentials range and are aimed at intermediate and advanced stitchers as an introduction to blackwork embroidery.
Blackwork embroidery (which in England dates to around the 15th Century, and in Spain, even further back) uses outline and infill stitches to create complex looking geometric patterns in any colour, despite the misleading name, and with Anchor’s modern take on blackwork embroidery they can offer a stunning range of beautiful designs to inspire and enthral with every stitch.
Kits contain all that is needed to stitch the design, including Anchor Stranded Cotton threads, needle, 100% cotton white Aida 14ct fabric, and detailed charts and instructions. Gentle hand wash once complete and dry flat.
All these kits are 13cm diameter.
Please note that these kits do not include a hoop. These can be purchased separately.
